At Goodwill of NE Ohio and NW Pennsylvania, we're proud to partner with Dell Technologies through the Dell Reconnect program, offering our community a free and convenient way to recycle unwanted electronics. This initiative not only helps protect the environment but also supports job training and employment services in our area.

What Is Dell Reconnect?

Dell Reconnect is a collaboration between Dell Technologies and Goodwill Industries, providing consumers and small businesses with a free and responsible way to recycle used computers and related equipment. Since its inception in 2004, the program has diverted over 635 million pounds of e-waste from landfills, promoting a circular economy and creating job opportunities within local communities .

What Can You Donate?

We accept any brand of computer equipment in any condition, including:

Desktop and laptop computers

Monitors

Printers and scanners

Keyboards and mice

Speakers

Cords and cables

Hard drives (internal and external)

Software

Ink and toner cartridges


Please note: Before donating, ensure all personal data is removed from your devices. Dell and Goodwill are not responsible for data left on donated equipment.

How Does It Work?

Sanitize Your Device: Remove all personal data from your electronics. 

Drop Off: Bring your items to any Goodwill of NE Ohio and NW Pennsylvania donation center.

Recycle: Donated items are assessed for reuse or recycling. Usable equipment may be refurbished and sold, while non-functional items are recycled responsibly.
